Hawaii-Part 2

Here are some more pictures from our big adventure in Kauai. It was so beautiful and fun, we really look forward to the opportunity to go again some day. One more posting after this should give our trip the respect it deserves.

One of the secluded beaches near our hotel. We had to offroad a few miles to get to it.

The first waterfall we visited. Loved the rainbow at the bottom!

First Day of Preschool!

Today was a very big day for Miss Grace. It was her very first day at school. I am not sure if I was more nervous than she was. Chris and I were able to take her together, and we kept our fingers crossed that she would not cry. Well, she didn't, but we did. We had such a hard time leaving our little girl in the hands of others. I left feeling a little sad that she was growing up so fast, but happy she was excited to start the beginning of her educational years. When we arrived to pick her up, we were certain she would run happily into our arms to head out for a special lunch. However, we were slightly humored when she began crying because she wanted to stay! Good sign that she enjoyed herself. After a few minutes of tears we let her decide where she would like to eat lunch to celebrate. Applebee's was the lucky place and I consider the day to be a true success. She seems excited to go back!
