Christmas

Christmas was a blur of activities, illness, shopping, decorating, eating and opening of gifts. Grace really got in the spirit this year and eagerly awaited Santa's visit. I loved everyday Grace came home from preschool with a great holiday decoration that she had made. It really made this a special year. Chris played Santa earlier in the month when he drove out to Florida with a car for his Mom. She was thrilled and quite surprised. Peyton enjoyed all the lights and glittery decorations but was otherwise unaware of the holiday. We ended up having 3 Christmas dinner gatherings this year and had a great time at each. Just as I am putting away the last of the decorations I have to start getting ready for Peyton's 1st birthday! How the time flies.......

Why just walk when I can eat too?

Christmas eve celebration at the house

The scene on Christmas morning........

Grace and Mommy had a special day going to the Nutcracker together. Grace was thrilled to meet the dancers and take pictures with them. Mommy forgot to wipe all the chocolate cookie off of her face and dress!

Peyton enjoying the view at our friends home. Grace was decorating a gingerbread house while Peyton was destroying their Christmas tree and harassing the cat! The little one has some spirit......

One for the house, 2 for my mouth.....
